Job Duties:
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and functional behavior assessments (FBAs) as clinically appropriate. Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized ABA treatment plans and behavior intervention plans.
Establish measurable treatment goals based on each client's individual needs, strengths, and abilities.
Develop and oversee individualized skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programs.
Collect, review, and analyze behavioral and clinical data to evaluate treatment effectiveness and client progress.
Modify treatment plans and interventions based on ongoing data analysis and clinical outcomes.
Provide direct clinical oversight and support to behavior technicians and other ABA staff.
Provide supervision in accordance with BACB requirements and applicable Utah regulations.
Conduct regular observations of treatment sessions and provide performance feedback to staff.
Train caregivers, parents, and other relevant individuals in behavioral strategies and treatment techniques.
Collaborate with families, physicians, therapists, educators, and other members of the client's care team when appropriate. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and case coordination.
Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation and treatment records.
Prepare progress reports and other documentation required for insurance, regulatory, and clinical purposes.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, staff, and referral sources.
Maintain professional boundaries and protect confidential client information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies.
Follow BACB ethical standards, applicable Utah laws and regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies. Participate in staff meetings, case reviews, training, quality improvement activities, and other clinical initiatives.
Maintain professional knowledge through continuing education and ongoing clinical development.
Perform other duties related to the delivery and oversight of ABA services as assigned.
